TERRY HENRIKSEN
President
Born and raised in the United States, with a Danish grandfather in the furniture design and manufacturing business, Terry was destined to be in the interior design field. Educated in both architecture and interior design at Art Center College of Design, Terry has over 40 years of experience in the industry. Terry is a gifted sketch artist and a master space planner. With a curious mind and boundless imagination, he is able to transfer creative ideas into beautifully detailed sketches and finally into reality. In addition to the computer-generated renderings prevalent in today’s industry, the “lost art” of the hand sketch further conveys the feeling of a space with an impressive personality. A passion for design of furniture pieces, architectural features and interior millwork, Terry is well versed in the design of all aspects of interior components.
Prior to establishing Henriksen Design Associates, Terry was a partner in the firm Hirsch Bedner Associates in Los Angeles, California and worked alongside the best-in-class design professionals for 18 years. Terry’s extensive experience in interior design and architecture range from large-scale luxury hotels, boutique hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, spas, lifestyle hubs and countless renovation properties. His expertise and creativity is sought after in both the Americas and Asia.

TOMOKO DAY
Design Director
Born and raised in Japan, Tomoko has spent most of her 28-year career in interior design in the US, China, Singapore and now Hong Kong. Her strengths are in crafting original and creative concepts that fuses both Western and Eastern cultures and in overseeing all areas of furnishings, finishes and equipment down to the very finest detail. Tomoko is forever on the lookout for not only products and materials that are both exquisite and functional but also innovative.
Tomoko also has the perseverance and diligence to get those around her to meet her high standards, be it her own team members, furniture manufacturers or other interior design firms that call on her for assistance. Tomoko' s dedication and commitment to every project from commencement to completion is testament to each one’s success. After spending 8 years in notable international interior design firms in Los Angeles, Tomoko joined HDA in 2000 and has been working there ever since.
